History of the Pinewood Pool
Thank you to the Marcotte Family
for all they've done to help maintain our pool
for the past 59 years.

The Pinewood Pool was built in 1966.
Fun Fact: The year was written into the old diving board base when it was poured.
The first written lease was in 1973, to what was being termed “Pinewood Manor Homeowners Assoc., Inc.”
and signed by Richard Hatch as president. This was witnessed by Art Wager. In the early 90’s the lease
was signed by then “homeowners” president Jan Ritchie. After which was Sue Lackey as president.
The first house built was Dr. Lawrence’s on Valleyview circa 1960, followed closely by Bob Marcotte's house.
Pinewood is 400 acres plus another 47 acres bought in 2006 to help make the H-Section happen.
Bob Marcotte bought 250 acres from Rice Lumber and the balance from others.
